Hourly Teacher - French as a Second Language – Intermediate level 2

The College is seeking an hourly paid professor to join a dynamic team to teach an ON-SITE non-credited course within Continuing Education in the Fall of 2025.
999-008-08 French as a Second Language Beginner Level 1 – 30 hours - Offered onsite at the main campus located at 325 Boulevard de la Cité-des-Jeunes, Gatineau, QC, Canada J8Y 6T3.
This 30-hour FSL intermediate 2 conversation course introduces students to basic grammar, vocabulary and conversation strategies for everyday interaction. Students are guided through a theme-based curriculum that presents them with common, useful language points. Students will receive extensive practice through fun, interactive activities that focus on speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Start Date: November 10th, 2025
Holidays (no classes): none
End date: December 17th, 2025
Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Delivery Format: Onsite Main Campus in Gatineau
- A combination of relevant diplomas or certifications in a related field, and a combination of industry experience related to the courses being taught.
- A bachelor’s degree is not required but would be considered an asset.
- Experience teaching adult learners would also be considered an asset.
- Create a dynamic, challenging, and motivated learning environment.
- Adapt to a variety of needs and provide appropriate online support.
- Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate knowledge of subject matter through academic or non-academic experiences.
- Apply theoretical concepts to current workplace needs and skill requirements.
- Must be flexible as required.
- Must be willing to work collaboratively within Continuing Education.
$50.00 hourly
