ROLE SUMMARY
In a general way, the professor's teaching load shall include: preparation of course outline; preparation of classes, labs and fieldwork; teaching classes; adaptation; support and supervision of students; preparation, invigilation and correction of examinations; revision of corrections at the students’ request; participation in pedagogical days organized by the College; participation in departmental meetings and required activities.
FUNCTIONS
The College is seeking a part-time professor to teach credited courses within our Business Administration program in the Fall 2026 semester.

360-B60-HR : Business Law
(3 hours of theory, 1 hour of lab and 4 hours of availability per week)
This course focuses on the importance of the legal system in relation to the operation of a business. Students learn how to examine business operations to identify potential legal liability and legal compliance risks. Topics covered include contracts, civil responsibility, consumer protection, property, employment, and bankruptcy.

410-F20-HR: Finance II
(2 hours of theory, 3 hours of lab and 5 hours of availability per week)
This course uses financial principles and concepts to solidify the student’s understanding of financial investments. The student applies time value of money concepts to capital budgeting and lease-versus-buy decisions and recommends an appropriate course of action. The student uses appropriate computer software to facilitate the numerical calculations.

410-T10-HR: Business Technologies: Foundations
(4 hours of lab, 4 hours of availability per week)
This foundational course aims to equip students with essential digital literacy and proficiency in business computer applications. Through interactive learning and practical exercises, students will develop expertise in navigating operating systems, managing electronic files, implementing cybersecurity best practices, and communicating professionally in digital environments. This preparation will position them for success in contemporary business settings.

End date: December 18th, 2026
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Commerce or in a related field is required.
  • Three (3) years of work experience in Business is preferred.
  • Several years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or college level is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and French, both oral and written is required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required.
