POSITION

Teacher - Mathematics (Fall 2025)

The College is seeking a part-time professor to replace a teacher currently on leave to teach a Math course in French onsite from August 25th to September 20th, 2025 with possibility of extension.

(2 hours of theory, 4 hours of lab, and 6 hours of availability per week)
(Mondays from 10 a.m. to noon, Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and noon to 2 p.m., and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.)
Les étudiants en informatique étudient et pratiquent les systèmes de numération binaire et hexadécimal ainsi que les transformations matricielles telles qu'elles sont utilisées en informatique et les outils mathématiques de base trouvés dans la logique, la théorie des ensembles, l'algèbre booléenne, la résolution de problèmes et la statistique.

ROLE SUMMARY
In a general way, the professor's teaching load shall include: preparation of course outline; preparation of classes, labs and fieldwork; teaching classes; adaptation; support and supervision of students; preparation, invigilation and correction of examinations; revision of corrections at the students’ request; participation in pedagogical days organized by the College; participation in departmental meetings and required activities. May also include departmental coordination; program committee coordination; special support and supervision activities; participation in program activities; program development; implementation and evaluation; and institutional development.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
  • Minimum of a Master's Degree in Mathematics or in a related field is required.
  • Teaching experience would be considered an asset.
  • Must be fluent in French, both oral and written is required.

SALARY RANGE (ANNUAL)
56,082.00$ - 108,008.00$
